The VSA has conducted its 2023 Consumer and Industry surveys to gather valuable insights on improving the services provided by the organization. The results of the surveys indicate an overall increase of 10% in user satisfaction ratings (including Consumers and Licensees). The survey shows that the increase in Licensee satisfaction is as high as 30%. The VSA staff is committed to leveraging these results to enhance customer service and provide better services to their users.

The 2016 VSA Customer Satisfaction Survey was conducted by IPSOS-REID to help the VSA improve their service and customer satisfaction. ย Overall satisfaction with the VSA went up by 7%, with 65% of licensed salespeople giving a high rating of 8, 9, or 10 โ in comparison to 58% in 2014. ย The VSA staff will use the results from this recent survey to continue to improve customer service at the VSA.

The 2014 VSA Customer Satisfaction Survey was conducted by IPSOS-REID to help the VSA improve their service and customer satisfaction. ย The survey revealed that 69% of licensed salespeople reported positive interactions with the VSA, and nearly all (94%) felt that VSA service has stayed the same or is getting better. ย The VSA will be using the survey results as a benchmark for future improvement targets.

The 2016 Public Confidence Survey was completed to rate the general publicโs confidence in the auto industry and assess industry perceptions. ย It found that 68% of recent buyers gave the industry a rating of seven or above (on a scale of ten), while 43% gave the industry a top three rating. ย Since 2013, confidence in the licensed vehicle sales industry has either increased or remained stable across a variety of measures.

The 2013 Public Confidence Survey was completed to rate the general publicโs confidence in the auto industry. ย It found that 67% of recent buyers gave the industry a rating of seven or above (on a scale of ten), while 37% gave the industry a top three rating. ย The new IPSOS-REID survey suggests that consumers are becoming more confident in the BC motor vehicle sales industry.
2013ย – IPSOS, VSA public confidence study
Nine-in-ten British Columbians who either bought or leased a motor vehicle during the past 12 months or are very likely to do so in the next 12 months say they feel confident (87%) and informed (89%) when buying/leasing a vehicle, but a new IPSOS-REID poll suggest they might not know as much as they think they do.
