APPLICATION:
An application was brought by the Respondent requesting an oral hearing in this matter pursuant to Rule 30.4 of the Registrar Rules of Practice and Procedure.
This application stems from a hearing where it is alleged that the Respondent contravened the Motor Dealer Act, the Motor Dealer Act Regulations and the Business Practice and Consumer Protection Act.
The Authority took no position with respect to the application.
ORDER:
After considering each of the factors in Rule 30.4 as well as the submissions of the parties, the Registrar denied the application for an oral hearing and ordered that the matter should continue as a written hearing as provided by Rule 30.2. The Registrar further extended the time for the Respondent to amend its Response to the Amended Hearing Notice set the time for any reply submissions by the parties.
