COMPLAINANT: Vehicle Sales Authority of BC (the “Authority”)
LICENSEE: Manat Sandhu
ALLEGATIONS:
The Authority sought an interim suspension of Manat Sandhu’s salesperson license under section 7(2) of the Salesperson Licensing Regulation, alleging that because he is the subject of two RCMP investigations and a parallel investigation by the Authority in relation to alleged forgery and fraud arising out of illegal motor vehicle sales, that he was a risk to the public.
OUTCOME:
Having considered the circumstances and based on the evidence provided by the Authority, the Registrar did not find that the public required protection from Manat Sandhu by way of an interim suspension order and dismissed the Authority’s application.
