ALLEGATIONS:
Following a written hearing (link to decision) in which the Registrar found that Legacy Auto and Surrey Mitsubishi contravened various provisions of the Motor Dealer Act, the Motor Dealer Act Regulation, and the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act, the Registrar directed the Parties to provide further written submissions as to the assessment and quantum of costs.
ORDER:
After having considered all the circumstances the Registrar ordered Legacy Auto and Surrey Mitsubishi to reimburse the Registrar’s actual costs, including legal costs, in the amount of $7,000.00, with Legacy Auto and Surrey Mitsubishi being jointly and severally liable for payment of the costs.
