LICENSEES: Super Choice Auto Ltd. dba Lucky Stars Auto (“Lucky Stars”), Amir (Sam) Ghamary, and Aria Ebrahimi
ALLEGATIONS:
Following a written hearing (link to decision) the Registrar found that Lucky Stars contravened various sections of the Motor Dealer Act, Motor Dealer Act Regulation and the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act. Administrative penalties were issued against Lucky Stars and Amir Ghamary and their respective registration and license were ordered suspended. Lucky Stars and Amir Ghamary applied for reconsideration of the decision and a stay pending the outcome of its application.
DECISION:
The Registrar found that the Respondents’ application did not meet the requirements of section 26.12 of the MDA and section 182 of the BPCPA and dismissed the reconsideration decision, and as a result the request for the Decision to be stayed was also denied.
