In the matter of Motor Dealer Act R.S.B.C. 1996 C. 316

Complainant: Vehicle Sales Authority of BC

Licensee/Unlicensed person:
Wild Grizzly Transport Ltd., Pasquale Zampieri, and Jennifer Aiken

Issues:

The VSA alleged that Wild Grizzly Transport Ltd. had:

Acted as a motor dealer, while not registered to do so (curbing); and
Tampered with odometers on multiple motor vehicles.

The VSA further alleged that Pasquale Zampieri and Jennifer Aiken materially participated in the actions of Wild Grizzly

Outcome:

The Registrar found that Wild Grizzly Transport Ltd. had:

Acted as motor dealer, while not registered to do so (curbing); and
Tampered with odometers on 37 motor vehicles.

The Registrar found that Pasquale Zampieri had materially participated in the actions of Wild Grizzly.
The Registrar found that Jennifer Aiken had not materially participated in the actions of Wild Grizzly.
The Registrar issued a cease and desist order against Wild Grizzly Transport Ltd. and Pasquale Zampieri.
The Registrar dismissed the allegations against Jennifer Aiken.
The Registrar invited submissions with respect to costs.
