In the matter of Motor Dealer Act R.S.B.C. 1996 C. 316

Complainant: Vehicle Sales Authority of BC

Licensee/Unlicensed person:
Wild Grizzly Transport Ltd., Pasquale Zampieri, and Jennifer Aiken

Issues:

  • The VSA alleged that Wild Grizzly Transport Ltd. had:
  1. Acted as a motor dealer, while not registered to do so (curbing); and
  2. Tampered with odometers on multiple motor vehicles.

The VSA further alleged that Pasquale Zampieri and Jennifer Aiken materially participated in the actions of Wild Grizzly

Outcome:

  • The Registrar found that Wild Grizzly Transport Ltd. had:
  1. Acted as motor dealer, while not registered to do so (curbing); and
  2. Tampered with odometers on 37 motor vehicles.
  • The Registrar found that Pasquale Zampieri had materially participated in the actions of Wild Grizzly.
  • The Registrar found that Jennifer Aiken had not materially participated in the actions of Wild Grizzly.
  • The Registrar issued a cease and desist order against Wild Grizzly Transport Ltd. and Pasquale Zampieri.
  • The Registrar dismissed the allegations against Jennifer Aiken.
  • The Registrar invited submissions with respect to costs.
