In the matter of THE MOTOR DEALER ACT R.S.B.C. 1996 C.316 and THE SALESPERSON LICENSING REGULATION B.C. Reg. 241/2004
Parminder Bharaj was called to a hearing for failing to comply with a condition on his Salesperson Licence to complete the Level II Salesperson Certification Course by December 31, 2013.
The purpose of the Hearing was to consider whether it was in the public interest that Parminder Bharaj’s Salesperson Licence have additional conditions/restrictions placed on it, be suspended, or be cancelled.
The history of Mr. Bharaj was not the same as Mr.Bhisi’s. Mr.Bharaj had just come back into the industry a short while ago.
Pursuant to Sections 4(1) and 4(3) of the Salesperson Licensing Regulation the Registrar placed the following conditions on Mr. Bharaj’s salesperson licence:
To register and successfully complete the Level II Salesperson Certification Course taking place on March 11/12, 2014; and
that a payment plan be authorized for Mr.Bharaj to pay for the course within a 4 month period.
If Mr. Bharaj fails to fulfill and abide by the conditions, the VSA has grounds to consider cancelling or suspending his licence for a period of time, or to refuse to renew his licence.
