Complainant: Registrar of Motor Dealers

BURRARD AUTOMOTIVE LEASE INC. AND JEFF HOLLANDS

Issues:

Mr. Field was called to a hearing to review his salesperson licence for failure to complete his Continuing Education (CE) requirements.

Issues:

Dealership was called to a hearing for infractions under section 5(1) of the BPCPA S.B.C. 2004 c. 2 and failing to occupy the business premises as required under section 11 of the Motor Dealer Act.
Salesperson was called to a hearing before the Registrar, pursuant to sections 6 and 7 of the Salesperson Licensing Regulation to review his salesperson licence application.
The dealer and the salesperson did not attend the May 27th hearing.

Outcome:

With respect to the dealership – adjourned sine die and to be re-opened only in the event of another consumer complaint.
With respect to the salesperson – adjourned sine die and to be re-opened only in the event of another consumer complaint.
