PARK SHORE MOTORS LTD. (Dealer #7632)

Issues:

Park Shore obtained a deposit from Mr. Sangra.
Mr. Sangra did not complete the deal as agreed.
Park Shore refunded all but a small amount to cover its costs.
Claim was a deceptive act.

Outcome:

Claim dismissed.
Mr. Sangra’s son-in-law brought the claim and lacked standing to do so.
Evidence showed Mr. Sangra subsequently agreed to Park Shore keeping $800 – no evidence to the contrary.
No evidence of deception on the part of Park Shore Motors Ltd. was found.
